Vitamix, warranty, durability and why you should make the purchase

I am a culinary student and I work with a vitamix commercial series quite often, as well as at home I have the standard vitamix. From my personal experience I have enjoyed using these blenders and wanted to share about and recommend them.
Why would I choose this expensive blender?
This blender is higher on the price range so why would you buy this particular brand when there are plenty cheaper options on the market? I have been using vitamixes for years as well as other brands such as ninja, or generic blenders. Vitamixes rarely have something that it can not blend completely smooth. They are quick, efficient, and reliable. I have seen and experienced many blenders motors burn up but I have always had success with a vitamix. They have powerful motors that withstand many years. My family inherited a blender from an older person who could no longer use there vitamix and years later it is still running like new in our house.

What does it come with?
This blender comes with a lid that can be opened to add things while blending from the top cap. It also includes a tamper stick to help push the stuck food items down in the blender while blending.
How do you clean it?
This blender is has a base that it is set on and the top parts are easily removable to clean. The top, lid, cap, and tamper can all easily be washed in a dishwasher.
What are the settings?
Near the base of the blender is an on off switch to completely turn off the power even while it is plugged in. This can be used as a safety switch for little kids who may love pushing buttons on the blender as it is hidden.

This blender has an adjustable speed nob as well as a high speed button. You can start slow and increase your speed gradually or start with a high speed using the high speed nob.
What can I blend?
This blenders possibilities are infinite, but my favorite are smoothie bowls. This blender is powerful and can handle high volumes of frozen fruits which make a thick yummy smoothie bowl. Some other options are cream soups, smoothies, nut milks, drinks, nut butters, sauces and many other things.
Summary
While making a purchase in a vitamix might seem extreme if your budget is limited, think of the years it will work. Vitamix ensures a warranty ranging from 3-10 years depending on where the item is purchased. Why not spend a little extra and have a reliable blender that will last many years rather then having to purchase a new one every year or so that is not going to blend as smooth and quickly.
